Multidisciplinary artist whose work is close to the performance art, installation art, video, and sound art. She holds a BFA in Sculpture Magna Cum Laude (1999) from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico, a Diploma of Advanced Studies (2004) in Drawing at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Cuenca, Spain and a MFA in Public Art (2012) from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain.
Her work has been shown at several performance festival, including Excentricités at Besançon, France (2012) and Independence POP, Performance Art Festival in the Dominican Republic (2011). Hernández Gracia has exhibited in international forums, including the Espace Multimédia Gantner, Bourogne, France, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico, Museo de Arte de Ponce, Ponce and Exit Art in New York. She teaches at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto Rico and the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus.
Her curatorial practice includes exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico and the 356 Gallery, and also at indepedent venues as =DESTO and La Nómada. In 2013 she took part of an artist´s residency, Résidence Internationale, ISBA, Réseau Européen Formation at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts in Besançon, France. She is part of the curatorial team of the IV San Juan Poly/Graphic Triennial : Latin America and the Caribbean with chief curator Gerardo Mosquera and Alexia Tala.
